Our Rooms

At Alphabet  House we are lucky enough to have the space for three separate learning and play environments which are catagorised by age. All rooms are lead by a well-experienced nursery nurse, and supported by a dedicated and experienced staff team. Each child is assigned a key worker who supports their development throughout their time at Alphabet, House at whatever age they start. Children are stimulated through a wide range of activities, as well as frequent visits to our lovely outdoor play area. The descriptions below are rough guides, and they can vary depending on the development of each individual child.

Baby Room

Baby Room

Our specially trained staff  provide a homely, cosey environment whereby babies and very young children will feel nurtured. Resources are be natural and age appropriate so that all children gain opportunities to discover the world around them. Babies have ongoing access to the sensory room and our outdoor area.

Toddler Room

The experienced team  provides a unit that is specially designed for two year olds. The room is homely and welcoming, using natural resources to stimulate curiosity and active learning. Children gain access to a range of stimulating activities outside during the day.

Pre School

The specially designed room allows continuous flow from outside to in. The children will have access to this for the majority of the day. The room makes use of the large windows by having lots of natural light. There is a large emphasis on block play and art, children have space and lots of opportunities to explore both. The room has a homely but productive feel and the use of natural resources promotes this ethos.
